1. What are Telegram’s messaging limits?
Telegram has strict rules to prevent spam and protect user experience. When too many messages are sent to new users or groups in a short period, Telegram may temporarily limit further messages from being sent by pausing the campaign.
2. Why do messages reach some contacts and not others?
Telegram's limits primarily affect messages sent to new contacts who haven’t previously interacted with your campaigns. Existing contacts (who have received messages before) are less likely to encounter issues because they are already familiar with your campaign, according to Telegram's system.
3. What’s the difference between new and existing (old) usernames?
- New Username: A new username refers to a contact who has not yet received any messages from your campaigns. Messages to these contacts are more likely to be affected by Telegram’s limits when sent in quick succession.
- Existing (Old) Username: An existing username is a contact who has already received messages from your campaigns before. Messages sent to these users are less likely to encounter limits.
4. Why are existing contacts less affected by Telegram's limits?
Telegram considers messages to known contacts as lower risk. This is why NisWire campaigns have a higher success rate when messaging existing contacts. For new contacts, there is a stricter threshold to prevent unsolicited messaging.
5. Will I be notified if my campaign is paused due to Telegram's limits on NisWire?
Yes! If your campaign hits Telegram’s messaging limit, a notification will be sent to the NisWire CRM card. You can follow the below steps to navigate to the notifications or check the status of your Campaign:- Open any contact on HubSpot > Go to the NisWire CRM card (on the right side of the Contact page).
- Click on Actions > Start Campaign > Navigate to the top right of the chat window to see all notifications.
- Go to the "Campaigns" tab.
- Select the details of the campaign, you wish to see the status for.
The message will state that your campaign is paused and will resume shortly.
