One of the finest comedians of our time, Aziz Ansari, took to the INBOUND15 stage for a fabulous keynote. Needless to say, the excitement was palpable even if you were following the event from afar. What a great day it must be in Boston! Unfortunately, no photos or videos were allowed during the keynote. However, that won’t stop us from bringing you the highlights of the ever-so-funny Aziz Ansari’s keynote.

What better way is there to start the day than with this guy. #INBOUND15 @azizansari pic.twitter.com/10I1drgHLg — Bri Dehlinger (@BriDehlinger) September 10, 2015
Aziz Ansari, recently, co-authored a book called Modern Romance. It centers on dating in the modern world and how technology has affected relationships. The audience got a little treat when Aziz read an excerpt from his book. He even brought in his friend, Eric Klinenberg, NYU sociologist and co-author of Modern Romance.
Thrilled to welcome @azizansari and @EricKlinenberg to the #INBOUND15 stage!

.@azizansari reading his book excerpt around “texty” in an intro dating text is just killing me right now. #INBOUND15 (don’t ever do that)

Aziz Ansari and Eric Klinenberg touched on how people tend to have a different personality online and how technology enables a behavior we might find rude in the real world, but are fine with online.
“Sometimes all people have to go on is your phone self” – aka your online self. Very true. #INBOUND15 @azizansari

“You don’t have a face or a voice. Technology facilitates behavior that’s much more ruder than normal.” @azizansari on Phones #INBOUND15

In today’s world, where there are dating apps galore, Aziz and Eric mentioned how easy it is to lose interest in dating one person. With people swiping left, right and center to find the perfect match, focusing on improving a single relationship becomes much more difficult.
What @azizansari says about dating is true about buying. “Too many choices makes us lose interest, or skip out altogether.” #inbound15
